Interesting day!

Our visit to Wailea today was an interesting one to be sure.  Right as we were getting settled with our chairs in the hot, Maui sands, we were treated to a cringe inducing display of what I'm guessing was a yoga like exercise from an older gentlemen  Most of this "exercise" included him doing Esther Williams type moves on the beach.  Disturbing, yet hard to look away from.  Later, after a walk up the beach, we discovered a paparazzi hiding in the rocks by the surf just outside The Four Seasons hotel.  We asked him who he had under surveillance and he told us about a UFC fighter he was following.  Ever the optimist, Avery had on her Nashville Screenwriters Convention shirt which Mr. Paparazzi instantly picked up on.  He gave us his card and introduced himself as Derek Shook.  He then proceeded to pitch us an idea for a script which he's looking to recruit some screenwriters for.  Go Avery!  The shirt paid off.  He gave us some other insider info which should be very helpful as we get things going. A very interesting day, indeed!
