On Monday, we decided to take it easy on Keawakapu beach. A very nice beach! The day before, our smoke detector battery went bad and we had to have the landlord come over and fix it for us. After getting a new battery installed, our landlord who also doubles as a ships captain for snorkeling expeditions offered to give us a free tour to Molokini and a discounted price on a trip to Lanai. So we relaxed on the beach and waited for him to call us with the trip info. We'll be heading to Lanai on Wednesday and snorkeling at Molokini on Friday. God is so good! After making a few stops on our way back home from the beach, our trusty, rusty stead Dusty had a blow out on the highway. Not more than 5 minutes after pulling over, a nice father and son came to our rescue and had us back on the road in 10 minutes. Again, God id sooo good! To finish up the day, we decided to explore more hawaiian culinary faire at the PuPu Lounge. Resisting the urge to order the pupu platter, we opted for the wahoo or butterfish and man was it delicious. We are definitely ordering that again!
