On our way from LA to Maui we were flying high with the infamous "fabulous" Ms. J from the highly acclaimed America's Next Top Model. Eat your heart out!! Mahalia had to referee btwn a 52 yr old women and 6 month pregnant lady over a reclining seat. She would have gotten the air marshall but he was so not hot.
Our rental car was left in the parking lot with Mahalias name on an envelope and the keys inside. It is a wonderful shade of dust and accented with flairs of rust. But, we should look like locals at least.
We followed my cousin to our much anticipated home. We had no idea what to expect. WE WERE VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! We are so blessed "again" and hooked up. A new house that is fully stocked with necessities and more (including a flat screen tv and a contemporary motif)We will include pictures tomorrow because it is 2:52AM Florida time and we need to crash!!
Aloha!!
Dear Avery and Mahalia,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear that you made it to your final destination safely. We, at the mainland, already miss you very much. (Really, we're just jealous.)
Please tell Ms. J we are so sad we missed her/him. Maybe he/she can give you some pointers on picking up some Hawaiian men.
I really must know who got to sleep in the recliner and why was there an issue? Aren't the seats assigned?
I can't wait to see a picture of your beautiful car. Dust & Rust are my favorite colors. I guess there isn't an issue with someone stealing it being that you are on an island and they can't go very far.
When you arrived did you get lei-d or is that just on tv? Is Hawaii what you expected?
Looking forward to hearing all about your adventure!!
I, of course, will continue to slave over the hot stove and dirty laundry as you soak up the sun.
Say hello to cuz.
